We will work with spiritual and intuitive teachings for ourselves by gathering in Medicine ways to awaken our consciousness and by working with rituals of divination and purification. We use clearing techniques. We do not judge others and ourselves. We choose not to be hindered with self-saboteurs of limitations and lack. We choose to come together in a circle of harmlessness for each of our personal paths. These circles help us gather personal knowledge of the ancestors where we gather in the wisdom to be in right relations and to work in community to advance the collective dream. The location of these fires are in North Asheville, North Carolina. Fire begins at 4:30pm and continues until everyone has the possibility to participate. A feast follows each fire. This is pot luck, so please bring a dish to share. If you have wood, the tall standing ones would be grateful for your give away. Zoe Allison-Rockingbear and her apprentices will be the Fire Keeper for these fires. Directions to North Asheville: Merrimon Ave. to Beaver Dam Road. Turn right on Spooks Branch Road. Approximately .7 of a mile on the left is 126 Spooks Branch. The house has a large porch and faces a grassy lot. If you have questions call (828) 284-0975. Each month a medicine fire is built to encourage personal growth and vision. Usually, this is the last Saturday of each month, however, please call ahead as some dates are changed to adjust for life. Each month we have different fires as the circle changes with the seasons of our lives. These medicine fires include prayer and meditation, drumming, chanting and singing, traditional story telling, medicine fire smoke, dreaming with the drum, and teachings by the fire.
